Formwork Tie Bar

Formwork Tie Bar is part of a quick release formwork tie system produced from high tensile steel. Easy to use due to the hot rolled coarse thread over the entire length of the bar. Designed to enable the main parts to be re-used. The coarse thread eliminates any problems resulting from dirty or damaged threads, making for reliable threadability and assembly. The system is simple and easy to use onsite. The Tie Bar is threaded through the Thruty Sleeve and Thruty cone, Waler Plates are secured to the outside of the formwork using the Wing Nut. Thruty Cones can be removed once striking of the formwork has taken place and the Flupp Plug is placed in the hole and finished with Tie Plug Cement to produce a watertight repair to the surface of the finished concrete. Tie Bars can be ordered slightly longer than necessary to accommodate the minor misalignments which normally occur on sheet piling. Can be cut to the required length eliminating the need to cut and reweld upset rods to accommodate length changes. Formwork Tie Bars have a continuous coarse left hand thread and are weldable.

Tie Bars are used in conjunction with Tie Bar 'Thruty' Sleeves, Tie Bar Connectors, Thruty Cones, Premium Waler Plates, Tie Plug Cement and 22mm Tie Bar Flupp Plugs, everything you need to secure your formwork. These components complete the Tie Bar Formwork System.
