Heaveguard is a low density compressible expanded polystyrene used to relieve the effects of groundheave. It is coloured GREEN for easy identification on site. Its main applications are to the vertical face of groundbeams in piled and trenchfill foundations.

Details

It is an important point to note that Heaveguard cannot be used under a slab, or under a groundbeam that exceeds 600mm in depth. The correct product under a slab is either Cellcore HXS or Clayboard, and the correct product under a groundbeam is Cellcore HXB.
