Continuous Hystools

Continuous Hystools are a lattice-type support for concrete reinforcing mesh. The main bars are 3.6mm steel bars.

• These are supplied in packs of 25no, except 250mm. which are in packs of 20no.

Continuous Hystools are supplied in 2.0 mtr. lengths and are particularly suitable for slab constructions where they can be used to space between layers of mesh or bar reinforcement.

Continuous Hystools are strong, reliable and formed to prevent any damage to the polythene waterproof membrane.

Merchant size mesh (3.6 mtr. x 2.0 mtr.) generally requires 4 no. hystools and Standard size mesh (2.4 mtr. x 4.8 mtr.) requires 5 no. hystools to prevent any sagging during the concrete pour and compacting process.

Continuous hystools are used to ensure reinforcement mesh remains in place during the concrete pour and compacting and maintains a correct level of concrete cover. Continuous hystools help prevent insufficient concrete cover by creating a uniform level of the reinforcing mesh, reducing the incidence of steel corrosion and failure of the slab or wall from water ingress and improving the reinforcing ability of the fabric to an optimum level.

Continuous hystools can significantly reduce the time spent on-site organising the placement during concrete slab pours.
