Steel Reinforcement Bar, Cut and Bent or Rebar is a ribbed steel bar of high tensile steel designed for use as a tension device in reinforced concrete structures to strengthen and bond with the concrete. It is widely used in areas of the U.K. with London clay soils with inherent shrink swell issues. The steel reinforcing bars or rebar, when encased in concrete, add tensile strength to concrete giving the structure both the strength of concrete under compression and the power of steel under tension. Steel reinforcement is widely used for reinforcing concrete in beams, slabs, floors and other structures. Steel reinforcement bar can be cut to the desired size and fixed in position with tying wire or welded before concrete is poured. Manufactured from up to 98% recycled material.

Steel reinforcing bar, Rebar or Cut and Bent is a high tensile steel ribbed bar, manufactured to BS4449:2005. Lemon stock all the sizes and lengths of reinforcement steel which can be cut and bent to your specific requirements to BS8666:2005. We provide a high quality, reliable and cost effective service to the construction industry throughout London, Midlands and the South for cut and bent or reinforcing bar.

All our steel is CARES approved grade 500N/mm² reinforcement bar to BS4449:2005. We always carry comprehensive levels of stock in standard lengths up to 15m. All bar can be cut and bent to your specifications by our highly experienced personnel in accordance with BS8666:2005. All our steel reinforcement is manufactured from up to 98% recycled material exceeding the BS4483:1998 or BS7123.
