Knipex Steel Fixing Nips are specially designed for fixing concrete reinforcing steel with tying wire. Requires 25% less effort compared to conventional steel fixers nippers of the same size, extra-slim form for tying deep mounted reinforcing bar. Wire is twisted and cut in a single pass. High-leverage joint, minimising strain, even when thick tying wires are used.

Knipex Steel Fixing Nips are designed to give high damping of the cutting stroke on cutting through the tying wire, this reduces strain on muscles, reducing risk of injury. Cutting edges are additionally hardened to give the cutting edge a hardness of approx. 61 HRC. High-grade special tool steel, forged, multi stage oil-hardened.

Knipex Steel fixing Nips. 200mm. Professional quality, manufactured using specialist high grade tool steel, tempered and oil hardened. The heads are smooth ground with separately induction hardened cutting edges to 61HRC for cutting hard or medium hard wire and soft annealed tie wire used on reinforcing bar and mesh. Knipex Steel Fixing Nips allow the tying wire to be twisted and cut in a single action. The handles are plastic coated for comfort during extended use.
