What i always use review by CarlUse plastic spacers for years, but now use square bar because its stronger. You can walk on the beams, or walk on the mesh because you know its strong enough. Cant do that with plastic spacers.

These are Brittle but usable. review by Tony
We use the concrete square bar quite a lot, but beware its a brittle product. Some will arrive to site in broken pieces, so overlapping them is necessary.
