Heaveguard Fixing Pins

Heaveguard Fixing Pins are specially designed to securely hold polystyrene Heaveguard sheets securely in place on the vertical sides of of the trench in preparation for the placing of the reinforcement steel groundbeam. It is good practice to first line the trench with 1200 gauge polythene to stabilise the friable or muddy subsoil before placing and pinning the Heaveguard. Heaveguard Fixing pins are easy to use; simply push the long pin through the Heaveguard sheet and into the soil, the shorter pin fixes securely in place by sinking completely into the polystyrene. Heaveguard Fixing pins can generally be placed by hand but if the soil if exceptionally dry, the use of a mallet can be employed.        Size: Approx 300mm x 150mm x 100mm.
